On Sunday, June 21, we had the pleasure of presenting Genticorum at McBurney Park before an enthusiastic audience. Recognized as one of Quebec’s leading traditional music ensembles, the trio delivered a vibrant, high-energy performance that quickly captivated festivalgoers. Many attendees also joined in a lively square dance (danse câllée), creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere that celebrated the rich traditions of Francophone folk music.
Throughout the day, our team also hosted an information booth where visitors could discover our new artistic season, meet our staff, and learn more about the activities and programs offered by the Centre culturel Frontenac.
We would like to sincerely thank the artists, technicians, volunteers, and organizers who make this event possible year after year. The Skeleton Park Arts Festival plays an essential role in Kingston’s cultural life by offering a rich, accessible, and diverse program that brings communities together through the arts.
